{life can be so darn busy}

Anyone close to me especially family will know - I am a hard woman to catch up with, life as been very busy here at the Tout household but TERM 2 is always always very hectic.

SO much has happened the last few weeks so here is quick outline.

ROYCE

Royce was selected in the Northern Pool under 12"s development League Team which eventually took us to Lithgow to play for the weekend. The team did fabulous and where undefeated in all their games.

IMGP2233

From this Northern Team Royce was then selected in the Group 9 under 12's who played group 20 in Leeton. The boys where playing for the Bonetti Cup the day was successful and the boys had a great win.

Royce also made the Riverina League Open School Boys team and they are heading to Griffith for the State champions in a few weeks time. I will have stacks of photo when the carnival kicks off!!!!
  • The boys school soccer and touch teams have had success and are playing in the next rounds and Royce has enjoyed these days away from school.
The Duplication of the Sheahan Bridge in Gundagai was reacently opened and Royce has School Captain and his Principal where invited to the opening, this was a huge thing for Gundagai as the exisitjng bridge is a major linke bewteen Sydney and Melbourne.

CHELSEA

Little Miss Chelsea has also had a busy busy few weeks.
Chelsea has done very well with her Cross Country running - gaining 1st place in the 10 year girls School Cross Country, she then placed 2nd at District Level which gained her selcection at the Riverina Primary School Cross Country.
This was held in Griffith on a COLD and WET yucky day!!!! It seems though Chels is a mud runner has she came in 5th out of huge amount of girls which takes her to Eastern Creek in Sydney to run inthe State Cross Country Championships. - Way to go Chels.................
IMGP2082

Chels has also been very busy with her Dancing, netball and Hockey!

Today we headed of to Young for the 2009 Multicultural Perspectives Public Speaking Competition. Chelsea and another girl from her class competed today against 12 other students.

Chelsea's topic is the Australian Flag - I was so proud of her today it is such a huge ask to speak in front of so many people and then to prepare an impromtu speech is really hard.

But all her hard work has paid of as today she won her region and is now off the next level!!!!

So you can see where I have been and why it is so busy.

I have managed to squeeze classes and way to many  Circle journals in over the past weeks (crazy I know - stop laughing Bridge) but it is all great and very rewarding and I love it!

{movies in the park}

Tonight I headed off the movies in the park with my sister - normally this is great night out for the kids to go along and enjoy the outdoor movie thing BUT tonight TWILIGHT was showing.

I have actually already seen the movie after reading all the books I could not wait to go and see the movie but it was great to watch it again like most movies the more you watch the more you pick up.

I am actually keen to start reading Twighlight and the series of books again I love being involved in the world of Bella and Edward. Although even though I love Edward I am a secret Jacob fan too - he is very cute.

{mojo mojo mojo}

{at last an update}

Well of course since my last post much has happened - life here at the Tout's does get very busy just ask my mum even she does not know where we are up to :0).

SO here goes: (my mum's report)

Swimming carnivals have been and gone both Royce and Chels did extremely well at both their school level and at the District Level. Royce swam well enough to be the Senior Boy Champion at both levels and Chelsea was Junior Girl Runners up so they both swam like little fish. Believe it or not but my little camera has gone walk about and I don't even have any photo's to share, I will later on though.

Cricket all weekend just gone - Royce's Saturday comp team needed a win to play in the GF on Sunday and they did just that and also won the Grandfinal on Sunday they where chasing 140 runs and did so easy with the only 2 wickets being taken. Royce took one wicket and had his hand has the another in another 2. Royce normally likes the bat so he was pretty happy with himself. THEN after the GF we head to Deni as Royce was selected from a previous trial to trial for the Riverina Cricket squad.

IMGP1332

What a boring trip - it is so flat out that way - Monday started at 9.30 - till 3.30 cricket matches and net sessions from 250 boys the selectors chose 24 for the squad and Royce was lucky enough to be one of them he is very very EXCITED and we are so proud of him.

Scrap Classes another very successful scrap class was held at Scrapping 4 Keeps in Tumut the girls just loved creating  with the 5 x 12 acrylic album and they can't wait for the next class either can I thanks Bridge.
